One whom he also knows as well as most is an unfathomably vindictive and vengeful man with a terrifying reach? So Woodward concocted Presidential quotes out of thin air, forged notes and tape recordings? And Clarke's a liar, and Paul O'Neill is a liar, and Kwasniatski or whatever her name is is a liar, and John O Neill, and all the career counterterrorism people, and Tommy Franks, and Colin Powell, and Joe Wilson , and Larry Lindsey, and Anthony Zinni, and Walter Fucking Cronkite, and everybody in England except Tony Blair--theyre all liars, too, strictly partisan? And all those lower-ranking SACs, and special agents, and bureau chiefs, and diplomats, and all of them. All of these people, most of whom have spent their lives being faceless bureaucratic drones, they all, just, suddenly feel compelled to stand up and make up slanderous, career-destroying lies under oath because they hate Bush and America so much? And in spite of the fact that many of these people are jumping parties to do so? For the chance to fabricate slanderous falsehoods against one of the most powerful men in the world? Are they all nuts? Or is it that theyre possessed by Satan. Is that it? The Lord has sent down a Warrior Prince to fight the Darkness, and Satan has possessed all these faceless bureaucrats and diplomats, forcing them to lie and betray the true Word? I mean that at least makes some kind of twisted sense. But short of that rapturous vision, how can a functioning, literate, seemingly sentient being such as yourself possibly believe that all of these people, all telling essentially the same very believable story--all backed up by real world events that we all can see--- that theyre all lying?
