If you call that speaking....I listened for about 12 minutes after I picked up my son from school. the question that I heard him have the most difficulty with was, "Can you continue to lead in a bipartisain fashion." He blubbered for a bit, restated the question twice and then gave the same kind of answer a really nervous person gives in a job interview..."If I didn't think I could do this job, I would resign." or something like that.
My mom would have slapped me for such evasiveness.
Most of the rest of it sounded like regret that this info ever went public...not regret that it would happen. I shut it off when Elizabeth Dole (R) North Carolina started reading off a card how much she thinks Iraq has been improved by us being there, ended with a repetitive question asking, "What are your plans to make it all better, Don?" I think he suggested compensation for the victims.
