Let's see....first you righties bitch because Bill Clinton avoided the draft, now you bitch because Kerry actually fought in war and killed people.  (And for the record, go back and read the statement he read - it is from a compilation of statements from other people - but on a side note, I get so sick and tired of the infantile hypocrisy of the right wingers on this board - for example, for Pat Brown and Kevin G - if we had called in an air strike and killed hundreds and hundreds of Somalians after our 19 soldiers were killed, would you be yelling "war time atrocities"?  I hardly doubt it).

Then it's bitch about people picking on Chickenshit George Bush for his "honorable" National Guard service...

As far as comparing Iraqis and what they did to the four Americans a few weeks ago - yes, it was terrible, terrible stuff.  

But this is where you two right wingers miss the point and it is a HUGE one:  We are Americans.  We are supposed to be the greatest example of democracy, the pursuit of happiness, the standard bearers of liberty, human rights and all grand aspects of idealism and hope. 

So what happens?  Our Commander in Chief starts a bullshit war built on lies, lies and more lies and preaches to the world on his bully pulpit built on lies about our American virtues and greatness and tells the world their is a terrible "axis of evil" that we must defeat.  Along the way he builds a picture of Muslims as dogs and what happens?  He created a culture of less than human belief and we got caught with our pants down big time.

Mark my words - this story is not over and it will encompass many officers and the enlisted people will be the fall people.  Already a General, yes a fucking General has been put on record for telling these troops to "soften the Iraqis up." 

One last thing.....here is how this shit happens....when I was in basic training we had one guy who was hated by almost all.  He kept screwing up and the whole platoon kept getting punished for it.  With a wink and a nod one of the drill sgts said in his day there were ways to deal with people like this.  Well, it probably does not need to be said, but that night a group of chickenshit soldiers went in a gave this guy the classing blanket party (for those who don't know what that is, they put bars of soap in towels and went and beat him while he was sleeping while others held him down). 

Psychologically, this is the environment that GWB and his cronies created and now the chickens are coming home to roost and gladly they are shitting all over the heads of his adminstration.

The saddest part is that our soliders will be the ones that pay for this shit.
