Dale said the following concerning annual per capita waste of American food:

> That's not true. My dog gets all ours. Nothing's wasted.

Dale:

The statistic Mick mentioned is true --- at least on a PER CAPITA basis.

Also, you shouldn't be feeding your dog anything from the table. People food is not meant for a dog's metabolism, and is often the root cause of the dog's early death.

If you insist on feeding the dog from the table, please limit the table treats to items that have been known to be good for them, like an occasional egg, or some left over steak --- but not much else.

A lot of fatty table food given to a dog can cause obesity, clogged arteries, and heart trouble.

If you don't believe me, call your local vet and ask him or her. They will confirm what I am saying.

How do I know this?

Thirty years of raising, training, and breeding purebred dogs.

Hope this helps,
