Go and read available information PRIOR to the start of the war.  Go to The Atlantic's website and read articles about intelligence that was KNOWN prior to the war.  There was quite a bit of intelligence that said otherwise to what Bush was claiming.  Bush did in fact lie to the American people. 

The sad thing is there was one group of people who were stating quite a bit of factual information, however no one would listen to that group and constantly ridiculed their findings - and that was the UN and Hans Blix.

There are plenty of sources out there that show Bush told lies - look at how he linked Hussein to 9/11; read his comments about the "mobile labs"; look at his statements about the aluminum tubes; look at his bs of uranium from Niger. 

Bush and his cronies lied, lied and then told some more lies.  And I will say it and not shy from it. 

Now, many of my friends have asked me from the start why I was so against this war and from the start I knew of our primary intelligence source and that was Ahmed Chalabi.  Go and look at his past.  We should extradite his ass to the US and prosecute that lying scumbag. 

But for those who ask me why I think Bush fabricated this war, this is my answer:  I sincerely believe he and his people thought Iraq and it's army was so decimated that it would be an utter cakewalk that would then lead to an easy march to re-election.  And if one would read any historical writing about Iraq, Muslims and the Islamic faith, one will find out how ignorant our current war planners in Washington have been and how our soliders are paying the price for their ignorance.
