I am in agreement with Peter. Having seen Kerry over the years I've never seen him do that well with a speech. Particularly the second half of it. I thought he did fantastic for his standards. Max Cleeland also was outstanding and after watching him I thought Kerry would have a hard time following him. Kerry is just a stiff looking guy. I think New Englanders like Peter and I know that and know a little better what to expect from him. The rest of the country just sees this guy that looks really stiff but in all honesty from a public speaking standpoint Peter is right on the money. Last night was as good as we've ever got from the guy.
On Ghost's point, I do think it's impressive that Mr. Obama has made such an across the board splash with people on both sides of the aisle. Amazing really.
