Sluggish Balloons: sound and fury signifying nuthin'!

My favorite moment was when CNN's feed turned on the Stage Director's House Intercom and you could hear him saying stuff like:
"Ok, cue balloons. Go ahead, go balloons. Where the hell are the balloons. Go Confetti! I'm not seeing any God Damned Confetti...what the hell are you guys doing up there?"
The boys up in the rafters unhooking the balloon nets and confetti bags must have been so moved by the speech, they forgot to do their jobs.
It's all sales, smoke and mirrors. I'm not holding my breath because I've been lied to since Nixon and I don't see any reason to think anything AMAZING is going to happen. I'll just wait and see. (I'm still voting for him though.)
