"Everything Is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran
Foer-- Maybe my favorite book of the last five or
six years. Hilarious, tragic, deep, exuberant,
wild, and just plain brilliant.... Fantastic. And
yes, Dan Brown is a comically bad writer. But it's
fun airplane reading. And even he isnt quite as
bad as Robert Ludlum. I just tried to read the
Bourne book on a plane and gave up and read
the Skymall magazine instead. The man writes
like a teenage girl--all italics and exclamation
points. Bleeaagh!!!
