PJ,

Your garbled quote of DB's post makes nearly as much sense as your ranting. It's like I was just telling someone earlier today...every conservative I meet is too glib to have any real understanding of Republican policy. Thanks for proving me right.

But seriously: Why are politics always such an either/or position for the right-wingers on this board? It seems like anytime someone busts Republicans on the chops, it's followed by some Dem-bashing from one of you loons. I hate to break it to you, but not everyone who disagrees with the current administration has a Clinton poster on their wall. I don't recall DB saying anything pro-Democrat, much as I can't find anything in his original post that referenced history beginning yesterday, a mandate, or the 2000 elections. If you're one of the best & brightest the GOP has to offer, bub, I'd call Baerwald's post a positively sunny assessment of the next few years.

How about addressing the facts? How about defending an administration that's done nothing to break up the drunken corporate slumber party it inherited? How about defending Harvey Pitt? How about even one example of principled politics from the whole of the Bush cabinet's experience (excepting Powell, natch)? Hell, I'd even settle for an honest explanation as to why you seem so enthused about the Republicans gaining numerical control of the government.

Ah, but that's probably too much to ask. Continue with your sub-O'Rourkian attempts at humor.
