Keith,

I drove about 90 minutes to the Boston show.  It was a true pleasure to see David perform and to actually meet the man behind the music and chat with him for a few minutes.  A very cool evening.  A shame they were not selling shirts or CD's at the show.  I stayed after the show and helped load the bands gear into the great white whale of a tour bus.  One of the guys loading the van threw me a NFU t-shirt for helping.  Got home around 2 AM and was not too productive the next day at work but I'll do it all again when (if) David comes near Boston again.   The night could not have got any better!

The "street team" at Lost highway was a joke.  After numerous e-mails to them to volunteer my time, I heard nothing back from them.  How can they expect a CD to be successful if they do not promote it or help the fans to help promote it?  I bought a few extra copies of the CD and gave them to friends.  I had no expectations of receiving any thanks other than knowing my friends now have been introduced to some great music.  Anybody who does something with an expectation of receiving thanks or acknowledgement in return has their heart in the wrong place.
