It bothers me that Rather rushed this story to air but wouldn't give the time of day to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth? I think that's what it comes down to for many of us. The SBV had much more going for them than this story did but yet Rather wouldn't go near it. He's agenda driven and always has been as this episode so nicely illustrates. I for one am happy that this will be a defining moment in his career and become a part of his legacy. It serves him right.
