Hey Kevin:

Mostly, I grew up in projects and run down mixed neighborhoods where I was the minority. I wasn't big but I could run like the wind, and often did! When I was a kid, that definitely was about blacks, no question.

15 years ago I began working in an industry where you see the needy and the cheats, like clockwork, certain times of month. Now I grant you I have spent the majjority of my adult life in one of the whitest states in the Union, but I believe in the 40 years since my youth, white women have come to disproportionally resemble that joke.

Maybe I am wrong, but I didn't think black, I thought those poor kids, and 'those lazy welfare cheatin'' so & so's. Cause usually the most recent male is in the background benefiting from the plunder too. Parent or not. Of course, almost universally, at the expense of the children and their future. (I blame the government most of all.)

No drama, just my take. Too, I suspose it depends where you are.

ps All: Do give Henley credit for his efforts in behalf of Thoreau's place, Waldon Pond. Otherwise I agree roundly, shut em down.
