Well for starter were talking about Rush Limbaugh not the entire Republican party. We're taking someone to task who's own glaring hypocrisy is right out there in the open.
I'll turn the tables on you Dale and ask you why each of those people you mention are hypocrites ( Clinton(s), Franken, Moore, Dean) especially Franken and Moore. What is they're hypocrisy?? And what is its impact on the country??
I see no major hypocrisy in them. They seem to be mostly outspoken Americans who perceive injustice and speak out. Much like Deep Throat/Felt who is now being vilified by some on the right, when, to me, what he did was heroic. Warning I am straying into generalities that will bite me in the ass somehow. The Republicans did everything they could do to keep dissenting views out of their rallies and speeches while they champaigned on a platform of inclusion and a United America, you know..under God. Sound very American to you?? To stifle the oppositions right to speak (lets not even mention stifling the filibuster). Now thats a hypocrisy.
Go ahead and give Rush a listen , merely in the interest of fairness. I have listened to him and his pomposity is vile. I'll put it in perspective. He makes Bill O'Rielly look moderate. Every once in a while O'Rielly will concede a point against the republicans. I will credit him with being slightly (only slightly) more even handed. Remember I say that only as a comparison to Rush.
Ok thats it. I'm ready to take my lumps.
