Jeez Freddy for once you and I almost share a view, I too am cynical and fed up with this proselytising from ageing cocaine snorting popstars. I watched Bono blab on about ending poverty the other night on BBC newsnight and wondered just how much of his own personal fortune he was going to give up to end children starving and dying of malaria before he handed it over to us. I loathe and despise this playing at God.
