Technically, no we're not. As I said, I believe I'm on your side. I certainly don't agree with the idea that government should be able to reduce or remove personal freedoms...once you take steps in that direction you open the door to a domino effect. It seems you're willing to do that and I'm not.
Well at some point something has to give if we are wanting to squash terrorist cells within the United States. I do hear what you are saying about reducing personal freedoms and once they take them they aint comin back. Kinda like taxes. Once the government has your money they will FIND NEW ways to spend it. I work inside the walls of the government beauracracy of Texas. I see it first hand every day.
