Unless, as Pat seems to be hinting we should, we decide to officially start a preemptive thermonuclear war.
At some point David you have to say enough is enough. I would say a preemptive thermonuclear war is a little harsh but a reactionary one would not be. Let's say we withdraw the troops from Iraq, seal our borders and wait. There will be a strike on the U.S. At some point the people of the country harboring the terrorists have to be accountable. We have people inside Iraq helping the insurgents.  How long do you think they would continue that after we leveled a city like Falluja? At some point it will come down to our civilization or theirs.

Which, of course, would be the end of civilisation as we know it.
Any time you take a preemtive nuke strike I would have to agree with you.

That anyone can justify any of this madness is simply beyond me.
I see madness in these terrorists I do not see outrage. Just homogenized pacifism.

There will come a time for both of you that you will shake your head in wonder and regret that you ever beileved in this administration.  
That may be true. Time will tell. I'm not happy with this administration but not for the same reasons you are.
