In listening to Rush Limbaugh's show he was playing back some audio of some interviews for one of Ted Koppell's pieces on Katrina. He had an on the spot reporter interviewing people just as they heard President's Bush's speech on the rebuilding of New Orleans. The question was something like this?

"How do you feel about the sincereness of the president's speech and do you blame him for being slow to aid you in New Orleans"
A poor black woman prime picken and what do you think she said?
Something to the effect of "Hell no if I blame anyone it is the Mayor and the Governor"

Not satisified with that answer he prompted the same baited question to 2 or 3 others and they all replied
"I believe president is sincere in rebuilding New Orleans"

Now the reporter comes back to 1st lady and asks her how she has been treated in Texas (cause everyone know that Bush is from Texas and he does not care about black people). She say something to the effect of "Well the people of Texas have been outstanding and overwhelmingly generous"

Now Ted Koppell comes back after listening to these comments from the field and states "Well I guess the sentiment is not quite that negative for President Bush".

My Commentary
Well hell no Ted. You asked a baited question salivating for slam on Bush and what did you get Ted? The truth you and I knew all along. That the majority of the problems were not caused at the federal level they were caused by State and Local Level. But I'm sure to get a fair and balance viewpoint you can run out and interview Jesse Jackson or Louis Farrakhan that should give you the balance you are looking for.

Now Pat click your heels and repeat
There is no liberal press!
There is no liberal press!
There is no liberal press!

Marc, Dale are we back in Kansas yet?
