i should really be more aware of publication numbers (maybe i'll check on it this week), but there are very few recent papers in legit journals that dismiss global warming. the evidence is everywhere, in all fields. climate/weather modelling for storm frequency is more contentious at this point, so there is probably some debate about the specifics of the models.

it's probably too easy to dismiss science journals as being biased, because science won't have an open mind about something that isn't supported by data.

blah blah blah domenici should know this. all the climatologists at los alamos and the santa fe institute tell him these things.

maybe i'll have to burn the cutout from the los alamos newspaper that shows my 10-year-old self with the new mexico senator...
