Hurricane Katrina Retrospect

This catastrophe demonstrates more than any other thing
the state to which America has sunk in the 21st century.A story of incompetence and stupidity at every level of government
for decades!
The problems with New Orleans began when Jean Baptiste le
Moyene de Biemville made the incredibly stupid decision to build a
city in the middle of a swamp between three water hazards, the
Mississippi River, Lake Ponchatrian, and the Gulf of Mexico. Having
said that Louisiana politics have always been in a sad state even
before the machine-gunning of Huey Long (The Kingfish) on the
federal courthouse steps in Baton Rouge. Also relevant to the
situation are the facts that Louisiana and particularly New Orleans
has the most corrupt political system in the entire South, and that
the Mayor of New Orleans as well as the Chief of Police are black,
and that 78% of the population in New Orleans is black. America has created through the policies of both political parties
(The System) a permanent underclass of socialist and communist
people, they will not work, demand government services, many of
which are criminals, and are destroying the inner cities of our
nation. It is not their fault it is our fault. We elect the morons who
make these policies, our left wing political “System” led by do-
gooders, and softies have convinced the majority of the citizens
that the government is the ultimate source of last resort. That we
are not individuals but members of one or another group. That
Americans do not have individual rights and that only group rights
exist. This is a dire situation that will not soon be solved. Behavior of the storm refugees in New Orleans and all those later
transported to other cities is appalling. Action of black agitators in
shooting at helicopters trying to save people is disgusting. Setting
fire to buildings is unprecedented in American history. The looting
of businesses not for necessities like water and food but for TV’s,
electronics, furniture etc without the police reacting is sad. The
rape of scores of women in some cases with police officers looking
on is horrible. The action or rather the inaction of police chief Eddy
Conforce a black man in not protecting his fellow black citizens
from a unruly mob of black felons, rapists, is beyond the pale.
Governor Kathleen Blanco’s refusal of federal help because she felt
it would undermine her authority as governor demonstrates exactly
what motivates an ex schoolteachers. In all observations she seems
to have been more concerned with securing federal funds for post
hurricane relief than with the necessary federal troops to keep the
peace. With George Bush’s war in Iraq about one third of the
Louisiana National Guard in Iraq making the NG unable to provide
the necessary personnel for law enforcement. We’ll get the federal
fools later.The political structure for this event was: #1) The Mayor of New
Orleans, Ray Nagen #2) the chief of police Eddy Conforce, #3) the
governor of the state of Louisiana Kathleen Blanco, #4 The Head of
FEMA Michael Brown, #5) the head of Homeland Security Michael
Chertoff, #6) The President George Bush (The Lesser) #7) the VP
Dick Cheney, #8) and the secretary State Condolezza Rice. Not to be forgotten in this situation are: The NEPA (National
Environmental Policy Act) The Sierra Club, and other
environmentalist whackos. They brought suite against the U. S.
Army Corps of Engineers blocking the improvement of the levies
around New Orleans. Save the Wetlands (Swamp to us mortals) then
sued in 1977 that killed the plan for improved barriers around New
Orleans. All these environmentalists combined have suites pending
in courts all over America in some cases holding up construction
for over 20 years. You probably remember all the huge fires in CA
because these idiots brought suite to prevent firebreaks. Since the
acts of these people we have lost more forest to fire than in the
previous 200 years, and now we can say the same for hurricane
and flood damage.Having said all that it is important to understand that the mission
of FEMA is not the protection of, or the care of the citizens of
America. FEMA’s mission is to protect the government of the
United States and to ensure its survival. The exact same thing is
true of Homeland Security. Don’t for a moment even think that
either of these agencies was established to serve and protect you!
If you study their directives they are to; relocate population, move
businesses, confiscate property, commandeer goods, direct labor
and services, and lastly to establish marshal law. The failure of
both of these agencies on the entire Gulf Coast as assumed by the
citizens, is reflected in their mission, which is misunderstood by
almost everyone. They did in fact not fail they accomplished their
mission expediently, once you understand these facts you will also
understand the results that took place. The reaction of the entire federal organization demonstrates far
beyond any scenario just exactly how distant from the rest of us
our Washington establishment is. Where were all our leaders on the
29th and 30th of August when the storm hit the Gulf coast with
five days forewarning? Working up from the bottom Condolezza
was shopping for a new pair of shoes on 5th Ave in NYC and then
went to see a play. Dick was in Wyoming on vacation. George was
on vacation in Texas. Michael C. was at a briefing in Atlanta on
Asian avian flue. Not until the 30th of August did he send out a
memo to make a declaration on Katrina. His great idea was to give
away $2,000. debit cards to mostly welfare recipients; many are
being used in strip clubs, bars and liquor stores. We are not privy
as to where Michael B. was but it sure as hell was not at his desk.
Some comments; Condi you could buy shoes in DC I know the
selection won’t be as good but the price will be lower, you could
also save a lot of money on travel. Dick we would all be much
better off if you remained in Wyoming for the duration, the only
proposal you have come up with (nuking Iran) is so stupid we won’t
even comment on it. Michel C. I have never attended a briefing in
my life they are a waste of time you can always read the
documentation later. Briefings are nothing but free government
trips. George, well, what can I say your actions in the last couple of
weeks simply demonstrate what a true looser you really are. You
sent 30% of the Louisiana Nation Guard to Iraq, dummy, and then
got Mexican narco troops to help us out in Louisiana. What was the sequence of events?
The Mayor, had 5 days advance notice. He did nothing for the first
three days. Two days before the storm hit he proposed (at the
request of the president) a partial evacuation. He stated that he did
not know that the storm would hit New Orleans, where was this
dummy hiding? Everyone on the Gulf Coast knew it. He had over
500 school buses as well as all the New Orleans transit system to
evacuate his people. The buses as of the 2nd of September were
still under water. His recourses for evacuation were more than
ample for the job he used none of them. His first action was an
order on Sept 8, ten days after the storm hit his city to begin gun
confiscation in New Orleans, one would assume that this was to
disarm whites so they could no longer protect themselves. There
are on the 2nd of September over 500 School buses under water,
they could easily have evacuated everyone in New Orleans together
with public transit, and none were ordered or used.
The New Orleans director of Homeland Security (now there’s a joke)
had no plan, no contingency, no nothing even though this type of
catastrophe had been anticipated for 50 years. From the Economist
“Mayor Nagin (who is black) proved more adept at berating the
federal government on the radio than at implementing the cities
emergency plan.
The Governor despite a declaration of emergency by the president
2 days before the storm hit refused federal help or the
nationalization of the NG, or the offered help of federal troops.
What can you expect from someone so over her head, who places
political adherence before the welfare of her constituency.
(Democrats always stick together and then after the fact blame
everyone else.)

Atlanta on avian flu essentially did nothing. In fact he stated on TV
that he didn’t know the Hurricane would hit New Orleans perhaps
he was in stasis, or in Jerusalem. What did you anticipate from a
retired judge? As a member of the judiciary he is in no way
qualified to run Americas largest bureaucracy. When he finally
came up with an idea it was to give out $2,000. debit cards to
everyone, and then to increase government employee’s
government credits card line from $2,500. to $250,000. Just like a
politician judge if there is problem throw money at it and it will go
away.
On the local level every participant in Louisiana displayed an
incompetence that exceeds anything else in American history.
From Governor Blanco to Mayor Nagin and his side kick Police chief
Ebbert all should voluntarily give up their positions.
I do not think it necessary to in detail go over the rest of the
miscreants but will say all this completely vindicates my assertion
on national radio that every one of these people are the result of
either nepotism or the Peter principal.
Comments by some of the aid personnel at Houston:
Between 5-10% of all these people I saw at the Astrodome should
be in prison.
About 20% of these people were under some type of criminal
justice restraint.
White volunteers in the all black refugee mass outnumber blacks at
500 to 1.
Dr. Richard Johnson of the U. of Mississippi Med School reports
from Houston: The people’s behavior was terrible. 99% were black
they demanded help. They were looting, killing, raping, yelling and
demanding. Given food they replied that they wanted McDonalds,
and pizza. They acted like pigs. They had a library and a theater. I
was handing out water about one in ten said thank you about 20%
demanded soda or beer. The majority of these people were thug’s
welfare recipients and criminals.
I saw a middle aged white woman struggling to bring food up a
ramp on a cart 6 to 10 healthy black men were sitting on the ramp,
not one of them offered to helped her.
I saw a woman offering a black family shelter, which was turned
down because they wanted to stay at the astrodome to get their
$2,000 debit card.
The report of one volunteer: “While I was aiding a distressed family
and helping them out of their destroyed home a troop of black
criminals looted my truck of supplies for the victims and in the
process stole my personal effects including my camera. They even
stole my dog’s food”.
“We were coming across the Louisiana border and it was evening,
we had an escort of one state police officer and two armed local
police. A group of heavily amend (M-16) black men took as much
of our supplies as they could carry because they had the police
outnumbered by a factor of six the police did nothing”.
“We were in New Orleans, our vehicles were marked FEMA local
hoodlums continuously shot at us”.
“We were in a convoy of about 45 vehicles with flat bottom boats to
help in the rescue. The Fish and Game officers at the border of
Louisiana turned us around and told us we were not needed or
wanted, and neither were our supplies. As it turned out we learned
the next day that the largest hospital in New Orleans was
surrounded by water and they were desperately seeking boats to
help in the evacuation”.
“We had two trucks full of ice brought down from Michigan each
with 40,000 lbs. FEMA kept us driving around in Mississippi for
three days before we were finally unloaded”.
I have over 20 pages of similar comments. The worst agency in the entire situation was FEMA an agency of
Homeland Security. Chertoff’s statement that FEMA was
unprepared because they were in the middle of reorganization says
a lot about Chertoff and all the rest of the federal incompetents. All
that FEMA and Homeland security have been reorganizing is to
develop federal guidelines to take over local police forces, the
National Guard units of the states, state police, sheriffs offices and
other military and police functions reserved to the states by the
Constitution. Headlines in various papers of the Southland: FEMA
Chief Fired from previous Job, FEMA's Blocking Relief Efforts, an
amazing list, FEMA won’t accept Amtrak’s help in evacuation, FEMA
turns away experienced firemen, FEMA turns back Wal-Mart trucks,
FEMA prevents Coast Guard form delivering fuel, FEMA prevents
Red Cross from delivering food, FEMA bars morticians from
entering New Orleans, FEMA blocks 500-boat flotilla from
delivering aid, FEMA fails to utilize Navy ship with 600 bed
hospital, FEMA to Chicago “Send just one Truck”, FEMA turns away
generators. FEMA to first responders “We don’t need you don’t
respond”. As usual the vultures, Jessie Jackson and his sidekick Al Sharpton
have been playing the race card. The media has helped in this by
only reporting on black problems and evacuation. The fact that
predominately white counties of St. Bernard and Plaquemine
Louisiana were completely destroyed is never mentioned. I have seen about 200 photos and over 20 minutes of video from
New Orleans in which full scale looting was in progress often with
police officers standing by and doing nothing. Not one of these
photos or videos showed one single white looter.
To cap it all off FEMA decided to increase the spending limit on all
government issued credit cards from $2,500. To $250,000. This
has resulted in massive frauds by government employee’s charges
in strip clubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, massage parlors, and
various personal services are rampant.
The National Security Administration oversees airport security.
When they had to process thousands of people they relaxed their
ID requirements but searches of individuals turned up, 82
handguns, 400 knives, and 250 assorted banned items. When a
contingent arrived in Denver the police Chief ran background
checks on two planeloads 57 were felons. Records indicated rape,
armed robbery, assaults, theft, and murder.
The National Guard under the control of FEMA and Homeland
Security prevented many Red Cross units from entering places.
The only organization who has not only come out blameless but
who was on the ground the morning the hurricane struck was the
Salvation Army that is because the have a permanent presence in
New Orleans and because they are a faith based organization and
