Oh, for Pete's sake Dale! How are ya?
I don't hear you bitching about how many of your tax dollars go to public highways, public water and sewer systems, public education, or Social Security.
If you fell out of bed and fractured your skull and became a vegetable your insurance would eventually run out, your family would spend all their resources and then you'd be supported by me and Pat and our tax dollars. Me and Pat wouldn't argue that you shoulda had a lower bed or maybe you should of landed on your ass instead. Nobody would put you out on the sidewalk.
That's what I mean by the common good.
I mean maybe you got your own mountaintop somewhere and you grow your own food but I doubt it.....
