It would be interesting to track these folks. Assuredly next to none will return to their old neighborhoods -as intended- because they will be razed.

Most will remain poor. Although, it is my hope, the new environs will provide contrast, and may help some of the young to break the cycle of the familar.

Too, give BD credit Pat, for acknowledging the entitlement system is abused by some while noting your view is very true also Pat. I especially liked the note that people were reluctant to take handouts.

Actually, all views that have been presented have merit, including Dales work your way out of poverty, it's just that none of them are exclusively true but simply elements of the whole. (:is that Zen with you Mick-really liked your song of the year selection mate:)
