Let me just give you a few to start with.  Third Day and their last release from about 15 months ago titled Come Together would be a start.  The Elms cd titled Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll.  Also, Jennifer Knapp's cd Lay it Down.

I think you'll find that the Christian message within the music isn't whacking you over the head.  Instead, it's there for the taking along with some great music.

Kevin, why not Jars of Clay?  Do you have The Eleventh Hour?  I absolutely love that cd from start to finish...there's nothing weak about it.  I was able to see them last summer when they came through Minneapolis and they put on an excellent show along with Jennifer Knapp.

Kravits mentions below that he finds most of this genre mediocre at best.  As with any genre it's going to have it's share of medeocrity but check out the bands I've mentioned and make up your own mind.
