Mick.
I think you misinterpreted my question. That’s understood, ...no sweat. Surely I wasn’t looking for your ”advice” at all, ...but asking for a show of hands and a story from anybody on the panel who has screened The Passion with their teen-aged daughter or son. That’s it, no more no less. It's just ONE movie, man...& a query that came to mind while viewing TRIAGE... appx. 10 Hours after The Passion. 2 Flicks that push similar buttons...for unrelated reasons...if you have a pulse. I didn’t think on such a chaotic open forum that the topic would collapse so on the whim of one intolerant gent.
“What about watching a really good Christmas film like... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ahmmm... ... ... ...Saving Private Ryan.”
THAT’s funny! Ironical and hilarious.
Although a pot-shot as well, which I doubt I earned. But clever nonetheless.
Everybody relates art & a moment in time in their own vernacular.
& there would be no Easter...had there not been a Christmas,
so it’s relative, certainly. Like no bar-fight without whiskey...or beer.
If you don’t get it...maybe pass it on by. I’ll try to do the same.
[...or chew the fit & spit, ...it’s your option.
But who is that really satisfying, ...& to what ends?]
[I know, I know, ...I DON’T git it!!]
