Yes. All the rhetoric and posturing to one side. The issue of dwindling resources is really the crux of the matter - for us, our children and grandchildren. Which leads us back, inevitably,to the money and the profitability for a very small minority at the expense of the rest of us. Along with what David posits, it should trouble our sleep and feed our nightmares that we're putting our energies into supporting either GWB on one side or Hillary on the other when they both fit into a very narrow system. There's a definite sense of being lured and distracted by the colorful decoy so the hunt can continue unobserved by the masses to capture its game. The only potentially bright spot is that, historically, empires fall or collapse; the question is: can the multi-national banking conglomerate be lumped with those empires or is it something that will first devour its weakes(its citizens) in the hope of prevailing and then, inevitably, serve as its own apocolypse? Which may not happen in our lifetimes or our children's - but, perhaps, as Caesar said, "The die is cast."
