Greetings!

This past Tuesday, August 20th, Miramax FINALLY released Quentin Tarantino's JACKIE BROWN on a two-disc special edition DVD. Also released was a special two-disc special edition DVD of PULP FICTION.

This coming Tuesday, August 27th, will see the release of the two-disc special edition of RESERVOIR DOGS. To be released later on in this same format will be TRUE ROMANCE and NATURAL BORN KILLERS, two films which Mr. Tarantino wrote, but did not direct. Also, I hope that FROM DUSK TILL DAWN gets this same treatment, as that was a killer flick! (Pun intended!!)

If anyone out there is even remotely interested in these films, or Quentin Tarantino as a filmmaker, you should RUN, don't walk, to your local store and pick up all three of these wonderful DVD releases.

The second disc in each case is loaded with TONS of extras, such as a full one hour interview with Tarantino on the CHARLIE ROSE SHOW. On the PULP FICTION DVD, there is the Palm D'Or acceptance speech at the Cannes film festival, where PULP FICTION won best overall film. Interestingly, when an audience member starts protesting the films' victory in French, Quentin gives her the finger.

Also in the PULP FICTION package is an actual menu from JACK RABBIT SLIM'S! Pretty cool goodie!

For other Tarantino news, his next film is KILL BILL, which will premiere at Cannes in May 2003, and is scheduled for theatrical release on October 10, 2003. The shooting script is quite lengthy, around 200 pages, which means all us Tarantino fans are in for another 3 hour film!
