Kevin,

“the characters (as in fiction) were ‘gay’, ...”

Groovy.  All well and good, ...for them.  But the characters were also responsible to other souls beside themselves. The same would hold true for me...if I had a yearly tryst with a close lady friend of the family.  I would have to weigh the consequences with more than my libido...& the earnest heart I have for her...& her for me.  Gay or not gay, it’s attraction.  Because I’m attracted, even connected in some celestial kinship sort of way, to a female it doesn’t make me any less responsible to those I’m invested in...& who have invested flesh & spirit into me.  So I simply was not sold on the principle...that this film has been built up on.

But I suppose that’s the gold in being so varied in our opinions, bro.  We have those heady dissimilarities, ...and it’s good.

Wouldn’t you say?

“...and thanks fer sharing your manhood with us...”

Spare me the irony.  I shared one point of view with you.  No more no less.  Laid it all out there in an honest editorial, ...like to see more of it really.  At least I did that.  Wasn’t talking about manhood, ...I was talking about people.  If it agitates you, perhaps there’s too much truth in it.  I don’t know, ...but it was just that; from one perspective alone.

Just one.

“We should all be so lucky to love and be loved by our soulmate.”

Yes, I agree, we should.  It takes a concerted mutual effort...with two rather unselfish souls.  Ain’t for everybody.

I am

I’m genuinely happy for you; ...& hope there’s a whole sense of home therein....

Peace, man.
