I know people were saying that about the August primary, but wasnt there an unprecedented turnout this year? something over the %50 mark? And is Lieberman that popular with Independents?

Be a major drag to lose that seat, though with Lieberman holding it, it was already mostly lost, except in (the admittedly pretty important) terms of committee chairmanships and the like.

I am not sorry in the least to see that phony numbskull on the way out, but I hope he gets convinced to change his mind about the independent run. Fighting him would take resources I'd rather see we spend on redder states.
