>Hiatt - Comes Alive at Budakon. hyuk hyuk, nice combo of classic live titles, sure, but great versions of his best songs. Mike Ward's gritty Marshall tone will tear nice holes in your ears.
That cd gets me movin' and groovin' everytime. It is some of the best versions of those songs. I agree about Ward's Marshall tone on that set. Awesome. I also have another live Hiatt that was a free mail order bonus with Perfectly Good Guitar, I thinks its called Hiatt Live at The Hyatt. It's a little more raw around the edges then Budakon but still great.
Someone mentioned Harry Chapin's Greatest Stories Live, I've always loved that one too.
I recently picked up the Deluxe expanded edition of Allman Bros at Fillmore East. A classic for sure. I also have a DVD-A surround sound version and it's really cool to sit right between Duane & Dickey Betts.
I also recently picked up the Deluxe expanded edition of Mad Dogs & Englishmen. Another classic.
The Name of This Band is The Talking Heads ( with Adrian Belew )
J. Geils Band - Full House ( probably won't ever top anyone's list but it's still a fun romp with the original bad boys from Boston )
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones - Live Art
Jethro Tull - Burstin' Out
Woodstock -Various Artists
Peter Gabriel - Secret World Live
Cat Stevens - MajiCat
Buffett - You Had To Be There
Robert Earl Keen - No. 2 Live Dinner
This probably more like a list of all that I can think of at the moment.
