The fact that several lawyers will make enough money off this non-starter to continue to finance their over-priced California homes and to drive their SUV's to and from the courthouse hearings sickens me.  For that matter, why stop at the auto makers and Exxon?  Why not include other really large players like Pemex, the nation of China, all the coal-fired power plants . . .  Where does it end.  If they want to tighten emissions standards in California (and set an example) so be it.  But the lawsuit is clearly a reach.
