Hell, everybody with a brain knew before we went in. Even Bush Sr. predicted the consequences, albeit around 8 years earlier. I think I was even on record saying that Baghdad was going to make the French counterinsurgency in Algeria look like a day at the beach. CIA, Dept of State, academics, local experts, even a lot of the military guys were predicting all of this back before we started bombing. It's inconceivable that this information was unavailable to these... criminals. There is no punishment severe enough for Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, and... the lot of them. There is no punishment severe enough to balance the atrocities that these men have committed. The death of every soldier, the ruin of every family, the murder of every Iraqi civilian is their responsibility, and somehow they must be brought to justice. Not to mention the utter waste of our national resources just when we most need them to free ourselves from our suicidal addiction to oil.
