I'll go straight to my main points...1. We did not attack Iraq to "fight terror" this was never our declared purpose for going there. They were not harboring Al Qaeda or any of the terrorists that participated in the attack on 9/11/01. We did not enter their country as part of a "War on Terror" or as retaliation for the events of 9/11/01.2. Iraq did not attack us or any of our allies. 3. Iraq played no part in the events of 9/11/01. 4. Iraq was not one of the major players in terms of supporting terrorist activities before the United States attacked them. Our government had full access to piles of data that confirmed this. 5. Our stated concern with Iraq was that Saddam's regime had stockpiles of Weapons of Mass Destruction and active facilities that were in the process of producing more. 6. Our stated goal in Iraq was to remove Saddam from power and recover the WMD's. This would remove the threat of Saddam using or distributing WMD's. 7. There were no WMD's in Iraq or the facilities to produce them. The Bush Administration NOW fully admits this. The evidence to support this was available to the Bush administration prior to our attacking Iraq. The number of people on record at this point that told them this has grown to ridiculous proportions. The witch hunt the Bush administration created to "invent" data to support a blatant lie about Saddam and his WMD's has come back to bite them in many ways. One of which is Mr. Libby's trial, which amusingly has begun with his lawyer stating that Mr. Libby was set-up by the White House to protect (at the very least) Karl Rove. All because Cheney wanted to use a piece of data he had been told many times was false - the claim that Saddam had been attempting to purchase yellowcake from Nigeria - against the advice of many people. 8. Saddam was long ago removed from power and is now dead.
So, just reading the few facts above I think many questions should begin to form in your heads.First, I have to ask if Saddam is dead and the WMD's were just smoke and mirrors to get us into a war in Iraq - Why are we still there?Reason one for going there, WMD's...well they don't exist. Reason number two was hung by the neck until dead. We are not at war with Iraq. There was no "Terror War" there until we got there and made one. Why should one more American die in Iraq if Saddam is gone and there never were any WMD's? Why should we stay there? For the oil? To stop Iraqi's from killing each other? Because Iraq would love it if we left so they can become allies with Iran? To train Iraqi troops who we may have to fight if and when we return to Iraq, if we ever leave? This crap about the "media" ruining the war is a joke. The media always has and always will love a body count! If it bleeds it leads! Bad news sells more than stories about lost puppies coming home and little girls with new school books. Sorry fellas but that's just the way it is and always has been. The media will always focus on the bad and the ugly...it's what the people want. Just like the masses eat up shit like Britney and 24...crap sells baby. So bottom line we attacked Iraq unprovoked and turned their country into a slaughterhouse. You've got Shiites and Sunnis that want to kill each other, insurgents, terrorists, Iranians, Syrians, Afghans, Taliban, security contractors, and our troops...everybody is armed and dangerous and ready to go...and we are there why? Why?Why?Because Bushco bullshitted us about WMD's...that they knew were not there before we attacked Iraq. Just ask Scooter he's on trial for it. For the most part Bush and all his buddies have been coming into your homes and shitting all over your carpets for years now and you guys just seem to leave the piles there...you like that stink? There's a whole bunch of people screaming they can't take it anymore and you guys are just breathing deep. Bush was on national television last night telling you he wants to come shit all over your house some more and you guys are pointing fingers at the media for telling you SHIT STINKS?You've got to be kidding me...I know...you'll want to avoid all this by telling me I'm stupid for not seeing that the media did this and throwing "what if's" at me like:What if there was a democrat in office? How about forgetting the what if's and just dealing with what is.
