One of the crusades that Bill Orielly has had the greatest impact on is getting Jessica's Law passed in all the states in the U.S. It is almost unforgivable but there is no mandatory sentencing for these preditors. One of the worst states in trying to get this law passed is Vermont in which Bill has exposed several judges that either gave extremely light sentences or no punishment at all. I wish this was not a political issue but it seems to be. The press in that state have overwhelmingly ignored the issue and have attacked Orielly for even putting the spotlight on them for their lax sentencing.
