Yes ma-am, more & more laws equal a dreaded self-fulfilling prophesy; the preconceived notion that people are ill-equipped to self-govern is a flaw, a debilitating error. “Nominal laws equals anarchy” is a swindle, I believe the human animal realizes that liberty relies on some sense of order in order to thrive. Freedom requires cooperation on some levels, anarchy is not freedom…but govern by might…which is much like our government nowadays ~~ paradoxical. Far too many of our laws are for sake of revenues and the judicial practice of logging folks into the system ~~ socialization…yada-yada. Car dealers need car buyers, drug dealers need druggies, doctors need sick people & courts need crime & punishment. Sheez, how many “safety” requirements & the like are legislated to control the flow of one product over another? It’s ludicrous to you and me, consumer, but not to she & he, lobbyist/CEO. It really is like Alice in Wonderland, this world created in some mad hatter’s image. Ironically, people actually are more ill-equipped, overall, to self-govern in the 21st century, progressively more so than in the 20th century…because of an overly inundated-in-laws-&-fines state of existence. The population grows, the laws tighten the screws, the cost of living grows by leaps, & , blam!, we got us a pickle. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Never had to be thata way. I was digging around for something as an example, Andrea, & came upon this. People ~~ not all the nutters, certainly, because some just gota be contrary to feel alive ~~ are equipped to be coherent in their actions:
