we travel 10 miles every couple weeks to self-bottle 25-30 gallons of water at the spigots of a state-of-the-art water treatment house. The water is fantastic ~~ not likely it’s just in our heads, this water is good. …Are they putting something in it that triggers dopamine? Hmm?….. …Nahh, it’s just good water. Then we tip a five-gallon container over into an unchilled water service (like Eugene’s, but not porcelain…which is a thought) & this is our drinking/cooking water supply. The water we shower in is R/O treated well water that is high in iron (rust). Not high enough so’s you’d notice our hair or skin turning reddish, but it’s something I’ve wondered about…where our pores, etc. are concerned. We all have good skin though ~~ two teens w/ virtually no acne, and, as far as the little lady & I, it could be the regular addictive use of massage oils and moisturizers. I don’t know. I hear ya, though, Cassandra. Ever since the Hoover Damn…uh…experiment, no doubt there have been sweet & cuddly ol’ white-haired gentlemen of industry in humble high-backed…pleather chairs singing Kum Ba Ya over a spot of Earl Grey…and thinking of ways of keeping benign water a vast plentitude of thirst and hygiene recourse for we, the people ~~ & not just one more surreptitiously mined & isolated earthly resource to be creatively packaged, ludicrously priced to maximize profits to the CEO & her/his predecessors, and marketed to those silly little boidened-by-th-green-backed people
of planet oith. Peace. :O)
