Amen. The nightly news is terrible, and no matter what you believe about the 'liberal' media, Fox is only a news network in the loosest possible definition of the term.
There is certainly a lot of bunk on the Internet. I still shudder every time I think about David Icke, for instance. But there's also a lot of it on the television--and now that the Supreme Court has made it legal for the networks to knowingly disseminate false information, we can look forward to even more.
Critical thinking is a lost art in this country...whether that's a byproduct of good old-fashioned American laziness, or the other way around, I don't know.
