The Dominionists are a wacky, scary crowd.  Who needs to care for the environment, or worry about our national debt, what with the Rapture being right around the corner and a better world awaiting as JC kicks some righteous ass on earth? And the Internet undoubtedly facilitates religious/political fanatics of all denominations getting to know one another and thus reinforcing their dangerous delusions. What a destructive number some parents are doing to their childrens' psyches. In just two days of classes, I've learned that one of my student's parents believes that the DARE anti-drug program promotes lesbianism, and another kid asked my opinion of the Illuminati. I didn't think Kent's child was in sixth grade. On a positive note,  I've yet to hear anything odd from the boy who is a Jehovah's Witness. I couldn't make this stuff up. The sooner the Scientific Method gets taught, the better.
