Gene,
Sounds interesting, I'm wondering how long he's in the Phone Booth. It sounds like it could have made a great comedy.
I would have cast him as a claustrophobic who didn't know what was worse, getting shot or just being in there.
Then I'd make the Irish accent only happen after he drank a Guinness stout.
You know, I find some movies are so bad that they're good.
I remember once I went to see a famous old flick, which I can't
remember the name of, where the protagonist falls in love
with this beautiful lady, everything proceeds along until she
wants to make love, after much heated passion he turns away,
then she says "what's wrong Claudio" he slowly dramatically infers," I lost my pecker in the war". Now this was a serious drama/love story, anyway my girlfriend started giggling & I started also, within seconds we both were howling
uncontrollably , no one else in the theater made a peep because it was supposed to be serious, we both had to leave
screaming and shrieking to the exit. I think the male actor was
less than convincing, it was a hard role (no pun) to play.
Anyway thanks for your reply.
