Justin Currie of Del Amitri fame
Okay, so I was listening to samples from the Moog guys, thinking "yeah, I like it . . . it's as if the Jayhawks and Grateful Dead got together, etc. That got me thinking--who would I really like to see a new release from these days? (Aside from the obvious DB.)So I looked up Del Amitri to see what they might have going, and lo & behold, lead singer/songwriter Justin Currie has a new solo album out!http://www.delamitri.comIt is available as of October 8th in the UK from Townsend Records, and will be available on the 23rd in the USA evidently.I'll have to listen to more of the Extra Moog people, but at first blush I like what I hear. Today's "must have" for me, though, was the Justin Currie.If you haven't heard the final album from Del Amitri (Can You Do Me Good) or the one-off from Uncle Devil Show (also featuring Currie), you should.
