I was all psyched up for "Clerks" and then totally let down. Comedy is funny (no pun intended). My wife and cousin watched it with me and we all had the same reaction. I also saw Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy" and thought it was only a minor improvement. I just don't see how Kevin Smith gets his funding (granted I didn't see "Dogman" or "Mall Rats" or whatever it was named. I am eagerly anticipating "A Mighty Wind" which looks to do for folkie groups what "Spinal Tap" did for the metal bands (with all the same actors to boot)!
