This man's writing has just blown me away. Anyone else read much of his stuff?Over the past couple of months I've read Brotherly Love, Train and the Paperboy. This man can write about the south, backwaters and the fifties like none other. In the mail today I received Paris Trout and God's Pocket. Also, if you like this man's writing, try picking up books by Richard Price (Clockers, Samaritan, Freedomland). Both of these guys somehow write some bleak shit, but at the same time seem to find something uplifting at the same time.
