I voted at lunch time and I was very concerned about the lack of folks at my local voting station. The guy at the first table said that they had had an issue with getting the machines up and running and the early folks had to vote on a paper ballot. I told him I WANT a paper ballot and he said that's probably doable, but by the time I made up to the final staging lane, I requested my paper ballot and was told I had to have "a good reason" for using one. Apparantly mine wasn't good enough.

I was hit up by the local paper on the way out for an interview. Unfortunately, he said he hadn't had many people talk to him that had voted the way I did. I got to tell him some of my views, don't know if I'll make the paper or not but, if I do, I'll probably get my ass kicked when I go out in public.  :-)

Hey, I live in Tennessee. I'm hoping for a strong wave of state wide redemption before the day is over, but I'm not holding my breath.
