Just for a little clarification to DalePat, most liberals don't hate the USA, they hate the special interests that insist that the USA must be THEIR USA, with no room for compromise or concession. The special interests that have co-opted our democracy to line their pockets or further their own interests. Whether it is plastering the public square with the 10 Commandments, insisting that the Constitution must be interpreted through a biblical filter, telling the citizenry what they can and can't do with their bodies, catering to corrupt corporations, or that the USA needs to expand its empire throughout the world, these are the things that many people hate, and it's not just liberals.

Why do you think Bush's approval ratings are so low? People hate what he's done to this country. Not just the Liberals or Democrats, but 70% of the population. Why do you think Congress' approval is so low? People hate that they haven't done dick about Bush. Clinton got a hummer from a consenting adult and got impeached, but Congress is letting Bush ream us in the brown-eye without so much as a how-do-you-do. Wonderful.

So pull your heads out of your asses and realize once and for all that there are 300 million people in this country and they don't all have to think the way that you do.
