Never underestimate the amount of stupid people in this country. 

Bummer, but I have to agree.  Sorry, Geno, but between those who wouldn’t be caught dead voting for a black man and those who will vote for Hillary, period, & those who will vote republican no matter what, no matter who, no matter how vile and heinous, …that’s a big ol pile of votes for The Ghostly Grinning One (with all that lovin for the present regime’s nasty paradigm).  The masses who read and think may vote for Obama, those who want to “hope” will vote for Obama, many many black people will vote for Obama, …but that is no landslide.  The people who want Hillary are just as adamant about her as those lining up to volunteer their time and money to Obama.  And while all the dem infighting is going down, The Ghostly Grinning phantom is slipping under the covers with the remainder of the jingo-slinging Americana.  Scary, scary, scary…………….stuff.  We saw a few, perhaps only a couple wanabe candidates who may have been the shit, maybe they may have been, …but now they’re busy doing something else, investing somewhere else, with all that money they mooched off the suckers.  What is left, feels far too much like the fix iz in.  Can I vote for Obama?  Yes.  Given the choice, is he most likely to get my vote?  Yeah.  But I may just cast my vote for some swing who comes on.  Why?  Because I don’t like being convinced that a vote for an independent is a vote for McCain or Hillary, blah, blah, blah.  Feels too much like I’m being spooked into NOT voting my conscience.  Damn tired of the lesser of two evils.  & if the popular vote votes independent of the combine (the demonic duo) we may break free of these thieves in the temple for good. Maybe not, but perhaps so!  Unless the popular vote is doomed to NEVER determine the President again.  But if that’s the case, then a democratic vote is out the window.  & if it’s out the window, Geno, then what are we talking about? 

[& then it just may be true that Mr. Obama has nothing…but presence, presence, presence, ...in pocket.] 

Why, why, do we press on?  I don’t know.
