No I dont think I get all my info from tv or reading about it.. then.... talking about it..Im living a piece of our reailty... This is my daughters 2nd tour in iraq( shes 22) this is her boyfriends 4th tour(hes 27)same unit..Not asking anyone to feel sorry for me...this is their job..but when you have so many young soldiers asking.. WHY.. are we here (In iraq) and not in afgan...my daughter works out of the office of one of the Generals..some days in same room..so this isnt about homesick kids crying for reasons to come home..even the commanders ask why..they ..the Iraq people dont want us there anymore...and Im sure the 9 soldiers who was ambushed in afganastan last week would have liked a (surge of help)..how many soldiers are in afganastan?..look that one up..I dont care what anyone says..that war has been forgotten!! and if I was the familys of 9-11..I would be pissed!!....I maybe posting the patriotic rant of the week..but people tend to forget about the reality of the state of our country ..we sit all cozy in front of our computers..someone is paying the price..and if their going be giving their lives for us ..well there better be a Damn good reason..Iraq war ..over the wmds..Taliban?..no..oil maybe..but lets get it straight for their sake...and btw..my husbands and I are self employed..(someone has to do the dirty work)..he had s stroke last year..and for the record we paid out of pocket..and never lied about anything, to recieve benfits..welfare..food stamps or even disabilty ssn..even thur we could have ..so dont judge all of us by that....My thoughts are we need to stop lending so much in favor of democrate or republicians..and start thinking about what right for this country.. and stop taking sides!!
