You are not alone in the way that you feel. There are a lot of voters that do not like either ticket and are debating what to do. It's funny, this is a year where I think a third party candidate could score a lot of votes but there just is nobody out there that looks capable of doing this. Ron Paul might have had a chance if he backed away from the Republicans sooner and picked somebody to run with him that balanced him off a bit. He's sticking with his party though so that's that. I certainly would not argue the idea that both of these tickets have a long list of shortcomings but at this point, given where we are, I'll vote Obama-Biden with the belief that they will assemble the best team get us moving in the right direction. That's the key to me, while I might not think Obama is the best choice for president, my main concern is who he might choose to fill the positions that count. As Peter points out the Supreme Court is a rather huge factor here and no matter what you may feel about Obama my guess is you'd feel better about living in this country if the next choices to highest court in the land are made by a Democrat. One man does not run the country and the team he assembles will be what counts. I do think Obama will do a good job choosing his team and after Bushco we need to fix a lot of stuff, and the justice system in this country is one huge item. If we allow Republicans another term in the White House it will hurt in a big bad way. This will probably be a close election even though it should not be and due to that fact I would give some good hard thought to pulling the handle for the Democrats.
