I don't think it is the words we hate, Pat. After all it's kind of hard to hate a word. A word is just a collection of letters. It just sits there like any other tool until somebody decides to use it. That's when the word becomes something and can generate hate. It's all about how you decide to use it. I have said many times here that it also matters what you say here because in some ways what you say here reflects upon David and Dan most directly and depending upon the reader possibly the rest of us as well. So, I think this is why you get the responses you get when you post certain things. Maybe Dan should have a disclaimer above the board that this is a public forum and the views and opinions expressed by the people posting here do not necessarily reflect the views of the owner of the website or David Baerwald. I mean just so that it's clear that when somebody posts something odd or questionable a visitor knows where we stand. "You open Pandora's box because you give me permission to do the same and you for one have always showed more class than that."
Well, just to be clear I do not give you permission to do that and I have asked politely that you do not. If that's how you interpret my post I'd rather have it and this whole thread removed. I was going only for comedy, not looking for a fight or to create a shit flinging contest. "I say what a lot of people think on the Right(but are afraid to say)"
Just a word of advice, don't ever presume that you know what somebody else is thinking. I know Marc and Dale and Kevin G get tossed all in one big pot with you most of the time but I doubt they all think what you think. I don't read what you write and think "Oh, that must be what Dale and Marc think too."
"Thanks for the civil response Reg."
No problem, thank you for not posting anything that would upset people due to what I posted.
"Even you slip every now and again"
I slip all the time but I did not feel I slipped with the top ten post. I'll be honest, I feel I slipped when I posted that link to an article on DKos. I do feel bad about posting that and feel I should not have done that. For that I feel shame and I am sorry. I could see the grasping for straws going on in that article and I could see the slime dripping off the screen but I was foolish and posted it. I kick myself for that. Hey, I'm stupid plenty of the time too, I admit it.
