But the fact that we live in a cult of personality (great song btw) society - and Palin has surely shown bright to the Christian fundamentalists - all of the above means very little. I think we can all agree, as well, that Obama has benefited similarly - but to a different group. But for anyone to actually compare these two people on a basis of competency for the white house is absurd. I do love the disney movie allusion - just a plain ol' hockey mom as the leader of the free world.

fwiw - it is funny how Mccain (and Rove et al.) have more or less made this a decision of Obama or Palin. Simply brilliant.
