Ok Kevin G, straight up - do you think that if Tariq Aziz would have come to the UN and said "we have no WOMD - and here's a list of stuff we destroyed" Bush and his goons would have backed out of war?

I don't know how the verification process was supposed to work but it was made to sound as though it was verifiable.  If Tariq had proven womd were destroyed I suppose that's one leg of the stool to support the war which wouldn't have existed.  That's not to say that the administration wouldn't have gone forward with the war regardless for the lone reason of removing Saddam...which I would have also supported.
