I will have to respectfully disagree with you on a number of things here, PK but not the Cards winning in a crap division, although they did start out well, only to the thrown around like a wet dishrag the 2nd half of the season. Especially how they laid down like dogs against New England in week 16. But I feel confident in saying there is no way the Eagles were looking past them last weekend even though they smoked Arizona on Thanksgiving. Especially after the Cardinals ran roughshot over the Panthers (Delhomme's shit game for ages, notwithstanding).

Regarding the Falcons, there was some luck involved but that rookie QB, Matt Ryan is going to be a very solid player for years to come. The main reason for their turnaround was the new head coach. Especially after that turd, Petrino quit on them the year before. The Falcons owner, though could be blamed for his naivete regarding the Petrino and Vick situations after they shook out.

I guess to each's own on Warner. Myself, I think it's a pretty good story. From working in the grocery store, NFL Europe and the Arena league, the Super Bowl MVP and the 2 NFL MVPs. Washing out with the New York Giants and having an MVP type year going to the bowl this year is somewhat compelling. When athletes proclaim their love of God after the game, it doesn't bother me unless religion dominates the interview, say what you feel, then move on.

Oops, I was wrong, we do agree on a couple more. Grandstanding, spoiled, self-absorbed myopic drama queens like T.O. and Chad "Ocho Stinko" Johnson just need to shut their pieholes, especially when the performances decline. That just heightens the stupidity. Burress, I wouldn't put in that group because he doesn't hunt the spotlight, he just does really stupid stuff but he is and will be paying it for it this time. These guys just make my appreciation of real sportsmen like Barry Sanders who just flipped the ball to the official when he scored and the late, great Walter Payton who always conducted himself with class all the more greater.

I too miss the teams that used to play outdoors especially Minnesota and Detroit in the NFC Central. Nice to see on TV but I wouldn't want to be there if the team sucked. Now Green Bay and Chicago have sometimes used the elements to their advantage over the years.
