Your mileage may very, but I like Smithwicks an awful lot, and I find it kinder on the innards than Guinness. Then again, I'm not much of a Guinness fan. If you like Newcastle, Sam Adams, etc., something with body and flavor and a not-very-bitter aftertaste, it would be worth a taste or two. I've seen a few local pubs near me with it on tap, but my local pusher stocks it quite a bit.I've had both Murphy's & Kilkenny's, I prefer Kilkenny's, but nother are exactly my bottle of ale, so to speak.
